This article describes how to refresh your EA API Access Key by regenerating the API Access Key.
By default, Azure EA API keys expire every 6 months. When your Azure EA API key expires, Anodot Cost will not be able to access your Azure billing data until you generate a new Azure EA API key in the Azure EA portal, as described in the instructions below.
In Microsoft Azure
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- Navigate to Cost Management + Billing.
- Select Billing scopes from the navigation menu and then select the billing account that you want to work with.
- In the navigation menu, select Usage + Charges.
- Select Manage API Access Keys.
- Click Generate to generate the key.
In Anodot
- Login to Anodot Cloud Cost.
- Click on your user email and navigate to the Account page.
- On the account menu navigate to the API Access Key page.
- Click + Renew API Access Key.
. - Paste in the new API Access Key you generated in Step 1, and add the new Effective Date.
- Click Renew.
After performing the above steps the account will run (automatically every day) and you will be able to see updated data under your EA account.
