The Anodot Cost application for Slack enables you to get cost reports directly in Slack.
With Anodot’s integration with Slack you can:
Get cost reports directly to your Slack channels
You can easily designate Anodot alerts and reports to be sent to a specific Slack channel. Following the initial installation in your Slack workspace, adding Anodot cost to a Slack channel is straightforward (See below)
Collaborate with your peers around specific alerts
Once you get an alert, you can easily continue chatting about it in Slack as part of a dedicated thread or in the channel itself.
Getting Started
To get started, follow these steps:
- Install the application to your Slack workspace using this link or from the Slack app marketplace. Note: You need to be a workspace owner in order to install the application. The application can only be installed and authenticated once per workspace.
- After installing, you will redirected to your Anodot Cost account to complete your registration.
- Inside Anodot Cost, go to Account --> Settings
- In the "How would you like to receive notifications?" check the "by Slack" option:

After authentication is complete you can choose Slack channels from your workspace to get reports through:
- On the left navigation menu Cost & Usage > Cost & Usage Explorer
- On the right of the chart click the save icon > save as report > expand Send options
- You will see the slack channels from your workspace.
- Choose the relevant one and the report will be sent to that channel once it is ready.
