The Budget functionality is accessed from the side menu (click Monitoring > Budget). In the Budget screen you can generate new budgets, edit existing ones and see where the current usage stands in relation to the budget.
To create a new budget, click on the + icon next to Create New Budget.
Finally, you can use filters so that the budget is not displaying the entire account. Filters include Linked Accounts, Services, Tag (Key: Value), and Cost Center.
When the icon next to the filter is a green plus sign, the filter is in the form of Include; it filters only what meets the values in the filter.
Setting alerts for the budget
You can determine whether the settings will relate to actual use or projected use.
For example, if Anodot Cost predicts that the user is going to reach 100% deviation, you get an alert prior to the user have crossed that threshold. You can set whether the alert applies to the granularity of the entire budget period, monthly or daily.
For example, suppose the user sets a budget of $31,000/month, the system divides the budget the same way for all days of the month - $1000/day, the user can set the TH at a daily level of 300%, so if on a certain day the user exceeds $3,000, there is a warning despite the fact he is still on budget.
