The S3 Usage screen is designed to simplify your AWS S3 monitoring and provides a comprehensive overview of your S3 buckets. It enables you to see your costs, bucket sizes, regions, and feature statuses with ease, helping you make informed decisions, reduce costs, and ensure efficient S3 resource allocation.
To access the S3 Usage screen, from the Navigation Panel, click Services > S3.
The S3 Usage screen includes a number of columns:
- Bucket Name: The name of your S3 bucket.
- Cost: The cost of each bucket during the selected date range.
- Size: Total bucket size.
- Region: The AWS region where the bucket is located.
- Versioning: Indicates whether versioning is enabled for the bucket (Yes/No).
- Lifecycle: Indicates whether a lifecycle policy is configured for the bucket (Yes/No).
Note that the S3 Usage data is calculated from the date of onboarding onwards. Historical information prior to your first invoice date is not available.
